There have been some questions about what happens to the Netshops.com store affiliate program, which is still active on both Pepperjam and GAN, so hopefully we can make everything very clear. We sent the following email out to anyone who is partnered with Netshops.com:
Earlier this morning you received an email describing our exciting change from Netshops.com to Hayneedle.com. Hopefully you are as excited as we are about this news!
Because you are partnered with the site Netshops.com, we wanted to inform you of some changes that are particular to this URL that will not affect our other stores. As of today, Netshops.com has ceased to exist. All banners and text links pointing to Netshops.com or any category page will now redirect to www.Hayneedle.com.
Unfortunately what this means is that customers will not be able to actually purchase items on Hayneedle.com so if you are currently directing customers to the Netshops.com homepage or any of the old category pages, you will want to sign up for our other store programs immediately to begin earning commissions. The good news is that if you drive traffic to Hayneedle.com and are partnered with our other sites, you will earn commissions on those sales. For a full list of our stores and commission rates on Pepperjam, please see www.HayneedleAffiliates.com.
One other note: if you are currently using the Netshops.com datafeed, all products will redirect to HayneedleShopping.com. You do not need to change any links as they will automatically redirect. The difference between product links and homepage or category links is that customers can put products in the shopping cart from there. If and only if you are using the Netshops.com datafeed, you will continue to earn 8% commission on any sales made.
You will likely have questions, so please check out our FAQ’s on www.HayneedleAffiliates.com and don’t hesitate to call or email.
So the bottom line is that you will need to change the name Netshops to Hayneedle on your sites. And you will need to change any banners and logos. You won’t need to change any links – they will all work or redirect to Hayneedle.
Hopefully that explains most of what happened, but feel free to contact us if you have questions.
