Hayneedle Affiliates

GAN’s Build Your Own Link feature is really helpful for anyone who wants to send targeted traffic to any page on any of our websites.  We have over 200 niche websites, so there are a lot of places to send traffic and we couldn’t provide an affiliate link to every page for obvious reasons.  GAN has provided some great info about how to use their Build Your Own Link tool at http://www.google.com/support/affiliatenetwork/bin/topic.py?hl=en&topic=15712.

It’s no secret that we have a lot of stores and a lot of different ways you can promote Hayneedle.  Within the GAN links section, we’ve provided you with at least a few banners and text links to each of our stores, but it can be hard to wade through all 1500+ creatives to find what you’re looking for.  Luckily we’ve put together a few tips to help you get exactly what you need.

• Use Filters
  
  • GAN has set up some great ways to sort creatives.  You can narrow in on exactly what you need by filtering the size, promotion or type of creative.  You can download the links you want in an Excel file after you set the filters.
  • Most Helpful: If you promote many of our stores and need a specific size banner for everything or if you are a coupon merchant who needs a list of all of our coupons.
• Download All Creatives
  • If you don’t want to mess with the filters, you can download all of our creatives into excel.  The link name for every creative will start out StoreName.com: so it should be fairly easy to find creatives for the store you want to promote.
  • Most Helpful: If you want to find a few choice creatives for specific stores like Telescopes.com or BirdBaths.com.
• Sign Up for Link Subscriptions
  • GAN offers a great tool called Link Subscriptions, which you can sign up for when you are logged into your GAN account.  You can sign up to receive new links via FTP or by email.  Once you’ve set up Link Subscriptions, you’ll receive all new creatives sent directly to you on a regular basis
  • Most Helpful: For anyone promoting coupons or promotions or individuals wanting to receive seasonal creatives.
• Build Your Own Link
  • Build your own link is a very useful tool for individuals wanting to send targeted traffic to specific pages on any Hayneedle site.  You select the page you want to send people to and Build Your Own Link will help set up the tracking link.  You can use any product images from our websites so feel free to get creative!
